Rosa Anne Cromie and her Dad
2012 marks AAWVs 10th anniversary educating and assisting veterans and their surviving spouses on the Aid & Attendance pension. Many wartime veterans and their spouses currently reside in communities where assistance may be provided but are unaware that they may be eligible for financial benefits from the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) that may improve their monthly income. Join the growing list of wartime veterans and surviving spouses who are receiving their entitlement.
Our goal is to educate 1 million veterans and surviving spouses by the end of the year 2013. Help us achieve our goal by attending a seminar and learn how you can further help your loved one.
“It’s all about relationships”
Our very first approval, Rosa Anne Cromie, was a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps during WW II. The founder of AAWV recalls the educational seminar where she met Rosa for the first time and heard the former Marine say, “I’d like to try and submit an application for this benefit.” Ms. Cromie did submit.... and was successful. As a result, a lasting friendship developed throughout the years. “It’s not just educating veterans and their spouses on the VA Aid and Attendance benefit that’s rewarding," advises founder, "but about the relationships and friendships that are created along the way.”
